I need help with my gambling behaviour – Take a Break
You can ask a gambling provider (the venue) or Consumer and Business Services (CBS) to bar you from entering an area where gambling takes place. This can include hotels and clubs with gaming machines, and the Adelaide Casino.
You can also ask to be barred from gambling activities such as betting on racing and sport and commercial lotteries - e.g x lotto, keno and instant scratch tickets.

Take a Break is a CBS initiative that operates statewide in conjunction with Gambling Harm Support SA, the Australian Hotels Association SA and Clubs SA.
Click here to fill out a quick online application form, which allows you to bar yourself from gaming machine venues, as well as other forms of gambling.
You can apply to be barred from any venue that offers gambling, and you can ask to be barred for anywhere between three months to indefinitely. The request is processed and implemented by the next business day.
The barring request also contains an option for you to opt in for contact from a Gambling Help Service offering free and confidential support and provides helpful links on gambling support options.
CBS staff can also discuss your options over the phone. If possible, they will make the barring order to bar you immediately. Phone or text 0427 051 300 or phone 131 882 and select option 6.
